Pass

Really disappointed. I usually love Amika but this shampoo leaves my hair sticky and greasy looking.

Not good for sensitive skin

I have sensitive skin and this plus the conditioner made my scalp really itchy. It also didn't do much for my thin hair

runny/watery consistency

When I purchased this, I was immediately put off by how watery/runny this shampoo was. Likening was half shampoo/ half water. the consistency was just off. I bought the refill size and am so disappointed. The smell was off too. I have thick, slightly wavy hair and it made my ends so dry and my scalp very oily.

Wish I tried this sooner

I was very skeptical about trying this shampoo because there are a lot of negative reviews. However, I am so happy that I did because it’s great! I have medium wavy hair, and this shampoo feels super soft and hydrating. I really don’t find that it makes my hair look greasy, as some of the negative reviews suggested. I could see this shampoo possibly being an issue for you if you have fine hair, but if you like hydrating shampoos, this one is fantastic and literally smells amazing.

Don't buy if your hair is fine and wavy

I have fine hair. This is one of the worst products I've used. There's a waxy film and my hair is incredibly frizzy/unmanageable. Terrible.

Hair was shiny, but felt and looked really weighed down. I like to go days without washing my hair and I wasn’t able to using this product.

Smells amazing

I love this brand and specifically this conditioner, I swapped a much more expensive option for this one and am honestly happier with amika. It smells amazing and is so hydrating, my hair is silky smooth after rinse out and super shiny even if I don't style

Suboptimal

My stylist sent me home with this after a highlight session and cut. It was great after the first wash but after a few weeks of one or two washes a week it is causing dandruff and oily texture. The shine is unremarkable. I'm bummed because I really liked the smell of the product and it seemed so good at first. It might work for maybe another hair/scalp type but it's way overpriced for what it delivers.

500 mL Refill Stinks

When I purchased this in the bottles, it was great! This shampoo really works well for my hair. The refill however, is a different story. I don't know if it has reacted with the plastic packaging in the refill size but the shampoo stinks. It's such a shame because I would prefer to refill my bottles instead of buying new bottles.

Okay.

I used this product and the conditioner for 2 weeks to see how it worked. The shine was great. My curls could use more moisture overall. I thought it worked as well as any other drug store hair product. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the scent.

Not bad, Not great

I did use this product for a few weeks to see how my curls took to it. It worked as well as any other drug store conditioner. It simply wasn’t enough moisture for my hair type.

Not it

The worst shampoo that I've ever tried. My hair became greasy within hours of using but my ends were extremely dry. Like other reviews, it feels like it doesn't cleanse fully and coats the hair with a filmy layer. I'd rather use Suave

Wanted to love it...

My hair salon used this shampoo on me and I loved the way my hair felt that I purchased it. After using it several more times, I am noticing it's leaving my hair both super greasy and dry all at the same time. Probably will stop using it and switch back to Ouai for medium hair.

A must-NOT have in your shower

I literally never review products but I have to warn others. This made my hair so unbelievably greasy, worse than any other shampoo I’ve tried. I didn’t realize the ingredient list is filled with hormone disrupters and other comedogenic ingredients. Please stay away from this product.
