I've tried a few foundation sticks and this one I love. As a 53 year old with dry mature skin I have a tough time with foundation. This goes on smooth and blends extremely well. not patchy, does not set in my creases.

Soft, natural appearance

The foundation is comfortable and pigmented. It's quite fragrant, so some may dislike it for that. It's easy to apply and doesn't pill. I found it easy to blend, and it played well with other cream products. It gave me a soft, beautiful, natural appearance.

Didn’t like it at first, but then…

I'm really enjoying this stick foundation, but not at first. I originally applied this directly into my skin and then blended it out with a foundation brush and also with my hands (as recommended by Dior). Those applications did not work for me at all. It looked patchy and cakey on my skin. Then, I decided to add it directly on my brush and then apply the product on my skin. Boom! Way better method for my skin! It really is a creamy flattering foundation that evens bout my skin and adds a bit of glow to the face. I almost returned it until I tried to apply it with a different method. I will absolutely keep it and enjoy it!

Limited shade range

I received the Dior foundation stick in the shade Cool Rosy. Unfortunately this shade is much too dark and I’m pretty certain I requested the lightest shade, but no matter. I do like the formulation overall, not very partial to stick foundations because they tend to be quite thick but this one sheers out quite nicely. I’d probably wear it if it actually matched my complexion, but based on the shade range I don’t think a match exists for me.
