Good Formula, Brush Is Awkward

I received the brown version of the Lancome Lash Idole Mascara for free in exchange for my honest review. I enjoy the brown color because to me, it looks more natural as an everyday mascara. I like the formula, it stays put and lasts for hours. Sometimes it is not easy to remove with only water, you truly need some type of remover or cleanser to help remove this mascara. The main thing I did not like about this mascara is the wand. I am not a fan of the curved brush, I find it awkward and a little difficult to apply the product how I would like.

Good, but not Great

I have short lashes that won’t hold a curl. This mascara did lengthen my lashes, but I wouldn’t say it’s very volumizing. I also wear contacts and use eye drops throughout the day, and this mascara did not run! It was also my first time wearing brown mascara and it definitely made my green eyes pop even more.

Lengthening

Adds length but not enough volume. Good if you like a natural, lengthening mascara, but you can get that effect with drugstore mascara. The brown is pretty for lighter, more natural days.

Doesn't hold the curl on straight lashes very well

I got this for free in exchange for my honest review. I have very thin and straight lashes, I tried the brown mascara and I liked the soft look. It gave me length and it really helped separating each lash however since my lashes are straight I have to curl them and this mascara didn’t hold the curl. I liked how it didn’t run during the day like other mascaras

Great mascara

This is my most favourite and used mascara by far. The wand is exactly what I need. I have long, thin, very light eyelashes and only need a little bit of colour and volume. It separates the lashes perfectly and makes them look naturally beautiful and not overdone. The only downside is that in warmer weather it will leave marks under my eyebrows where the lashes are touching my skin.

My new fave mascara

I am an avid mascara girly and I love the brush applicator and it really does what it says it will do lengthen and volumizing. I got the brown color and I really liked it looks natural and does not leave lashes clumpy.

Actually brown, not black-brown!

I really like how this gives me a less harsh/more natural look than black mascara. I'm pretty pale and this gives me a my lashes but better look. It delivers a whispy, lengthened lash. It also stays on my lashes rather than migrating to my under-eye.

Brown lashes

Love this mascara in brown . It does not clump up but does dry rather quickly. The brush could be more functional.

Super cute 10/10

This mascara is so cute omg. I’ve never tried brown mascara and it compliments my eyes so much. Also the formula is amazing. I already have long lashes but these make them look like falsies

There's a lot of things I liked about this mascara and some I didn't. Tte packaging is gorgeous, I love how solid the tube feels. I've wanted a brown mascara, and this color is great. The wand I'm a little iffy about. I have to be careful how much mascara is on each part because otherwise the tip makes the inner corner lashes too clumpy. For the rest of the lashes it does a good job of lengthening and separating. So overall I'm happy with it, but it does have a learning curve.
