I really wanted to love this product but it ended up just making my skin oily with no tint

It smells like a hamster

It smells like a hamster….why does it smell like a hamster?!?! Goes on nicely and feels nice on the skin but grabs on to every dry skin fleck and ever clogged pore. Plus ya know….the hamster smell….pass.

I desperately wanted to like this product, and I’ve had a bit of a different issue than everyone else with a bad review, this did not make my skin greasy, it made my face so sticky that I cannot stand to have it on. I attempted to use this over skin care, no skin care primer no primer and got the same result every single time I cannot emphasize enough how much I hate this 

Best used on young skin and in the summer. The smell is bad, SPF is unnecessary, and the price is exhorbitant. It doesn't work well on dry winter skin - highlights dry patches and texture, it wipes off easily and takes a long time to dry, and separates easily. Find another skin tint. I used and repurchased 3 bottles but returned the 4th. We can do better than this.

Oh man. Sigh. I REALLY wanted to love this skin tint. I researched a ton, and I love ILIA's other products. I did notice a scent - it smells like chemicals or just like... almost as if the oil has turned. It has not - but it does smell a bit. I decided to overlook the scent and try to make it work. I tried to use it for a few weeks. Ultimately, I was unhappy that it was watery and that even though I tried to thoroughly and gently blend, you could see the brush strokes. It doesn't really sink into the skin, it awkwardly lays there and looks weird. It does get better with powder etc, but I don't like to use much powder as I'm a bit older. It just isn't that girl. I got the Trish McEvoy foundation and that is incredible - still a watery and gentle texture but it actually covers. I recommend that in place of this even though it's so pricey. This one is a miss!

The best!

I love, love, love this serum! It goes on so smoothly and always looks natural. I also appreciate the sun protection. I use it instead of foundation. Sometimes I’ll use the complexion stick as a concealer if I want to look really spiffy but the serum is perfect for daily use.

TERRIBLE SMELL. Dry skin shows!

The scent is awful. I don’t know how they call this fragrance free. Also, if your skin is the tiny bit dry, it makes it looks flaky, not moisturized.

Terrible packaging!

After going through 3 of these I’ll no longer be repurchasing due to the packaging. All 3 have leaked horribly. I accepted I’d never travel with it but even sitting up right it will leak every time use it washing product and making a mess. I love the product but the packaging has to be changed for me to repurchase again.

Greasy

It’s just too greasy, cannot wear it. Not even a single setting powder can save this. And the smell is awful. It’s been on my counter for more than a year. I spent so much money on this, was so thrilled about it, but it turned out to be very disappointing.
