Honestly, it's incredible. I have thick, coarse, 2c/3a curly hair thats down to my butt. I have the airwrap as well, which I do love, but I find humidity gets through very easily and im left looking like a poodle if im not careful. The airstrait on the other hand holds up in humidity without issue- it makes your hair sooo soft, shiny, and pin straight.. all within 30 mins from getting out of the shower.. insanity. Can't imagine how fast it would be if my hair was shorter. AMAZING product!

I love my airstraight

I wish I had purchased the air straight sooner as there had been mixed reviews for my hair type. I have Afro texture hair that would likely be classified between 3c/4a and it’s quick dense but fine. I have struggled with knots but ever since I’ve started using the air straight it has changed the game for me. I am still getting the hang of using it but the times that I have it’s not taken me nowhere near as long to get the perfect stretched look and I don’t have the breakage that I would with brushes and using the blow dryer. I’d recommend giving it a try if you’re in the market and have it to spend.

Be ready to have your grip strength tested! Your hands will be tired by the time you’re done! This is a great hair dryer and an ok straightener. It will replace my old hair dryer but I still need to keep my old straightener to finish styling my hair.

Game changer

These airstrait straighteners are a game changer. As someone with really curly hair that takes 30 minutes to blow dry, then 20 minutes to straighten, with the airstrait I'm done in 15 minutes. Plus I don't have to straighten my hair everyday like I used to.

Overpromises, underdelivers

Really not happy with this product. Considering there is no way to test before buying, this really feels like a scam. Surely Dyson is aware that this does not offer the "Straight" look that people are looking for. I find my hair is slightly straight and very flat, but with a curve at the end. Lots of fly aways. And it takes at lot longer than the 12 minutes sponsored influencers tout it to be. I will be looking to sell mine of facebook marketplace sadly.

So far it’s good

My husband bought the Airstrait for me in January for my birthday, I’ve used it three times so far and I’m really impressed with it. Leaves my hair lovely and soft as I don’t like the poker straight look that a traditional flat iron gives as my hair ends up laying flat to the scalp because I have fine hair, the Dyson makes my hair look much thicker and healthier.

Was bought this as a Xmas present from my husband it took a bit of getting used to as its bigger and heavier than my other straighteners but it straightened my long hair in no time. I would recommend it but the only downside is, there isn’t a storage pouch to put it in after use which is very disappointing given the cost of the straightener, I’d of thought that would be standard.
