Must try w/combo skin

I recently switch to Nars from Estee Lauder - amazing! I have combo skin, and of course I still get a little oil around the crease of my nostrils, but other than that, matte all day! Super smooth going on

I had high hopes for this foundation.:I have combination skin and can get really oily in my t zone and dry around my mouth area…this foundation clung to my dry patches and over exposed my already textured skin. Still on the quest to find my holy grail foundation

A Daily Foundation

This is my everyday foundation. It’s easy to use spreadable and does what it needs to do as far as coverage. It does oxidize with wear after a long day if you get hot/sweaty. However if you do the steps and bake the beat it holds well.

Really nice foundation! Tried it once back when it first launched and bought again recently. PROS: great natural matte if you have really oily skin like me; way more high coverage than you’d expect considering how liquidy it is; very comfortable on the skin and lightweight; nice shade matches if you have yellow undertones CONS: not super long lasting, at around six or seven hours it’ll start to crease and crack; not transfer resistant; messy because liquidy; emphasizes dry patches

Looks nice at first but separates and is patchy

I wanted to love this foundation so much. My partner commented that it was the best and most natural foundation I had found yet since I’ve been searching for a new one (my OG brand and colour was discontinued) but alas it was short lived. It looks so nice going on but shortly after going on it seems to separate on certain areas of my face or look patchy, particularly my chin and around my mouth area. I’ve tried everything to see if it was my skin care prep or something I was doing but i it happened every time no matter what I do.

Not good :(

i really really wanted to love this product because it was great coverage for my acne and oily skin overall but as the day went on my chin area would get dots/spots all over my face… and the shade matches are not very good. either too orange or too yellow. nars do better

I love a matte look, the only issue with this foundation is that it gives you a yellow tone. There’s better dupes out there that do the same thing but, won’t give you a yellow tone.

BEST FOUNDATION

I have no idea why no one talks about this foundation more, it’s been my favourite for years. It’s high coverage (hides all my acne!) and lasts all day. I like how liquidy it is compared to other thicker foundations.
