Deeply hydrating

This hand cream is deeply hydrating, and super thick, which also means it does leave behind a slight oiliness, so I prefer to use this one before bed and wake to soft, hydrated hands. The scent is a sweet, baby powder scent that is a comfortable familiar scent that isn’t overwhelming. I don’t love the aluminum packaging, I appreciate the creativity in recycling but the dents and divots already just make me feel like the package looks cluttered and messy, maybe it’s my fear of cans, but I don’t enjoy the usability of this style of container. - Product gifted by L'Occitane Canada.

This hand balm is a lifesaver. As a busy mum who is constantly cleaning, my hands really take a beating especially in the cold weather. L'Occitane En Provence Shea Butter Intensive Hand Balm contains 25% shea butter to help moisturize and protect dry, sensitive skin. I love the way this hand balm smells! It is a light floral sent that isn’t overpowering. The perfect amount for someone like me who enjoys scents, but also reacts to too much. It is also very thick. You would think that it would take a long time to sink in or leave a greasy residue with how thick it is, but my skin just drank this up! My hands didn't feel greasy at all, but I could feel a protective layer on my skin. I have a bit of eczema on my hand at the moment and this balm helped to calm the redness and hydrated the dry patches, changing the texture of my skin from rough and flaky to smooth and soft!
