Use Blush Brush to apply Blush to the apples of the cheek. Sweep any excess across the hairline, bridge of the nose and chin.

For more dimension, apply a shimmer shade to the apples and a matte shade to the hollows of the cheeks.

For shades that may appear too bold or soft for your skin tone, customize your application.

For bolder shades, use a small amount of product and gently blend onto apple of cheek to create a wash of color.

For softer shades, start with a small amount of product and build to desired intensity.

change of formula

I know there was a change of formula and I feel the pigmentation on it has been reduced. the highlight is great though but I wish they had the same rosy pigmentation as the previous pigmentation

Not the same color as advertised

The color is very off from the advertisement. It’s much more beige/neutral than the picture. I was hoping it would be a pretty soft pink, but unfortunately it wasn’t. I still will keep it because I love nars blushes, but a little disappointed.

New formula is terrible. Switching immediately.

I have used this blush for +15 years. I have purchased two of these over the last 9 months and tried to use for two weeks. Both have ended up in the garbage. Using a blush brush (old, new or cleaned it doesn’t matter) the brush barely picks up any color leaving a matted down/polished sheen of gold shimmer in the package. To get any color you have to scrape the blush with your nail creating a mess and wasting blush. The new formula is terrible. You lost a loyal NARS customer. Switching to Charlotte Tilbury.

Formula change ruined a good thing.

The new version since they changed the formula (to go talc free) has hardly any pigment any more. This has been my holy grail go-to blush for 10+ years but I’ll be finding something new now.

Lovely colour. No staying power

Wanted soooo bad to love this because the formula is excellent. Goes on smoothly and the colour is fantastic. However, within a few hours, it’s completely gone from my face. Like completely gone. Will not be purchasing other colours because of this

I picked this up on a whim since I remember using it years ago and was bummed to find something has changed in this once iconic blush. Not a lot of pigment, even building it seems to take more than it should.

There is absolutely no pigment

There is actually no point in using this blush. It does not show up no matter how much I put on. Even swatching it with a finger didn’t pick up any pigment. I would include a photo but there’s no point because you wouldn’t be able to see anything. This is garbage and for NARS I was expecting better especially for the price. But the NYN butter blush instead!
