Master Mattes® Eyeshadow Palette: The Neutrals

I have been trying to love this palette since I bought it in the summer, but have been disappointed since. Low colour pay-off, hard to blend and chalky, minimal staying power. Performs like my Colour Pop palettes except 5x more expensive.

Not bad

Did not expect to like this as much as I do but I am suuuuuuper basic. Sort of bought it on a whim because I needed a new neutral palette, but I’ve loved it! Blends beautifully. As others have said though there’s a lot of kickback. Also I need to add that I’m unsure of how well this would show up on anyone with darker skin. I am very pale so I don’t have issue but I can see this palette not being very inclusive for others.

I don’t write reviews. This palette was a game changer for me. highly blend-able and soft buildable color. I was shocked how different and amazing these colors were.

Hard to blend

It was an impulsive decision to buy it. I tired it at the store using my fingers and I felt really good, is got blended easily, so I bought it as I loved the colours. However, when I got home and used my pro brushes I could barely blend it. The texture is too creamy and it applied very patchy

Meh

I’m not loving this, and I truly wanted to. The colors don’t blend well at all. Color payout stinks. So disappointed!

I absolutely love this palette, it's my all-time favorite! The shades blend beautifully, but what truly sets it apart for me are the colors. I have cold, fair skin, and i often struggle to find truly cool-toned shadows, but this palette nails it. It's an absolute must-have in my makeup kit!

Disappointed

Not sure what all the hype is about. Too much fall out, patchy, needs a lot of work to blend and its just not that good. Has to go back. I'm not sure how professional make up artist can recommend this pallete in good conscience. Sorry. A hard pass.

Kit Must Have

Absolutely love this formula, the shades and the lay out. Works so well especially for my bride clients! So glad I made the investment

Wish I bought it sooner!

I'm late to the game but this is a palette I needed. Over the years I've been buying brown eyeshadow palettes and something looked off. I'm a pale olive with neutral undertones, everything I have was too warm on my skin pulling orange. I bought this and tried it, love it. It's smooth, easy to blend, the colors aren't too cool, my over all look looks better and more cohesive. I used whatever shadow primer I had and it has looked beautiful 10 hrs later.

A little disappointed..

There’s quite a lot of fallout with this eyeshadow palette, otherwise the colors are nice and blendable. Messy experience though. Also, I don’t know if I got a defective palette but it doesn’t open fully to lay flat and it’s hard to use the mirror that way when I’m on the go.

Not so sure….

Whilst on pan the colours look different I’m not so sure if they look completely different on my eyelid? I also find some of the shades to come up quite patchy… however this may just be because I haven’t prepped my eyelids properly so I’ll have to give it another go. Was influenced after seeing how beautiful it looked on influencers.. but maybe it’s just not for me

A neutrals staple

I really love the variety of neutral mattes are in this palette. There are so many different looks you can create! The eyeshadows are easily blendable with limited fallout.the packaging is perfect for travel!
