The super fluid, serum-like texture makes it easy to build and blend your coverage just how you like it while evening out skin tone and smoothing the look of pores—no clogging or caking. Plus, the mess-free, doe-foot applicator lets you apply 1 dot at a time—all you need to cover your entire face!

Highlighted Ingredients:

-  Botanical Blend of lotus, gardenia, and white water lily: The formula helps soothe, calm, and nourish skin.

This foundation is best suited for normal and combination skin.

-   If you have dry skin, it is recommended to prep your skin with a hydrating moisturizer and then follow with Always an Optimist Primer (sold separately) for best results. 

-   If you have oily skin, it is recommended to use our Always an Optimist Pore Diffusing Primer (sold separately) and/or set your foundation with a powder. 

Shake well before each use to ensure the foundation pigments are evenly dispersed throughout.

Because of its innovative, serum-like formula, pressing the foundation into your skin with fingertips is encouraged but feel free to use the Liquid Touch Foundation Brush or a damp sponge. 

-   Start with the smallest amount needed—it’s recommended to use just 1 dot of foundation for the entire face. Use fingertips to blend in circular or tapping motions to press formula into the skin; the warmth of your fingertips will allow the pigments to melt into your skin for the best results. 

-    If you are using a brush or sponge, blend or stipple the foundation until it looks and feels like skin. 

-    For more coverage, add another dot and build as desired. 

This foundation has concentrated pigments so less is more—add a second layer only where needed.

this is NOT it

I love rare beauty’s products especially the bronzer stick and liquid blushes. I bought this foundation and the primer together thinking they’d work well together and they don’t. I have used this foundation a hand full of times with different primers and the foundation always clings to fine lines and makes it look so bad. I would not recommend this at all as combination skin girly.

First off, I had 190W but that’s not an option for some reason. Second off, it applies kind of dry and water at the same time, chalky liquid might be a better word. And then it separates and clings to dry patches and if it doesn’t do it right away then it does later. iIt also comes of extremity easy through the day

Do not recommend!

I’ve had this foundation for about 2 months and I do not recommend. It separates, dries out the skin, and flakes. maybe it’s just not a good foundation for my specific skin type but i’ve never had a problem with any other foundations.

When I say this is the most affordable best smooth blending foundation it truly is. It goes into my skin so smoothly and pretty and adds the perfect amount of glow to it. This is my main base of my makeup routine and is the best base ever!
