Doesn’t show up at all

I usually use isle of paradise ultra dark and it’s perfect tan for me. I was excited to try this but it does nothing. Used it every day and zero color whatsoever. Maybe it’s better for maintaining a tan you already have? I’ll try it again in the summer and see. Two stars because I haven’t tried it to extend a current tan yet.

Splotchy and drug store orange

I have to agree with the negative reviews. I was so careful, yet this came out splotchy and orange. It also stained my white sheets. I wonder if any of the sponsored reviewers actually used the product, and if any of them could write useful things like how to achieve the results they got.

This stuff is amazing, but I highly recommend going over your elbows, knees and such with another lotion after application. This will help you avoid tan lines.

I have only used this product once so far. I really like the color it gives. I am very pale, so it was very important to me to find a product that wouldn’t make me orange and would provide a natural looking tan. The color looks natural, but I will say it was darker than I was expecting for a “gradual” self tanner - not necessarily a bad thing, I just wish I would’ve known that going into it.

Amazing amazing self tanner! I love anything this brand creates. But this one takes the cake. It dries SO well. Smells great. And gives such a natural smooth color I’m blown away. I’m extremely … extremely pale. And this gets me tanned in 2 applications! Love the mousse as well but it doesn’t dry down nearly as nice as this one. Only downside is you need a lot of product per application. So it is a bit more expensive than the mousse. But hydrating and worth it!

Several Pros, One Big Con (Leg Streaks!)

Cons: Very streaky, especially on legs, no matter how careful I am or how much I blend and apply thoroughly. I've used a variety of tanners off and on for years, and this is the first time I just cannot get the color to apply evenly on my legs, no matter what I do. This is a shame because otherwise I like it. Pros: Doesn't have a perfumed or stinky smell (I don't smell anything), the color seems fine, and it's not super drying to the skin. It dries super quickly so you can get dressed. I have three kids so I don't have time to stand around, so the drying time is great. But again, the streaks! I plan to use what I have left on my upper body where, for whatever reason, it doesn't get as streaky, and find something else for my legs. I would skip this. I prefer the gradual and butter products from Tan Luxe, though they don't dry as quickly. Still looking for something better...

pretty but stinky

I love the color and the type of hydration it gives my skin, but the smell is awful. It doesn’t have a terrible scent whenever I’m using it, but afterwards is awful… I still stink even after I shower the next day. I’ll be white before I’ll be stinky.

love this stuff!

This stuff is amazing. I alternate between my upper body and lower body and then take a day off in between. I use it right out of the shower. Then proceed to get ready while it dries. It has zero smell, doesn’t rub off on clothing (maybe a little on white) and it has a beautiful color. People think it’s real. I have never had issues with streaking on the upper body. Sometimes I get streaking on my lower body. I use the mitt but sometimes just my hand. On the lower body I pump three squirts into my hand for my thigh then another two to get the back of my thigh. On my calf three pumps then another two for the back and swipe across the foot. I find doing that gets better coverage because it is absorbed fast. I love it! The only negative I have it my Apple Watch rubs it off after I put it on and I’m left with a tan line there unless I skip the watch for the day. I use the drops for my face. I add ONE drop to my nighttime moisturizer and then place it on my face and blend. Rarely do I have streaks there. After you have applied wash you hands keeping the top of your hands out of the water. Dab off with towel. That’s it. No smell and no stickiness! Hope this helps.

I’m not sure how to apply this product, it’s hard to tell if you’re doing a good job bc it’s transparent. So I don’t think it’s beginners friendly. It has a pleasant fragrance and is not tacky. But your skin will look spotty…

Streaky

Gave a god tan color, but it was really streaky. I have tried all different tanning products and this one was by far the streakiest might need to change application method.

Don’t waste your time or money on this product! This picture was taken after applying WITH a mitt, I tried with just my hands and got the same results. The consistency is too thin making it go on uneven and because it is clear it’s very hard to see areas that may have been missed

great tan

My tan from this is amazing. I always exfoliate before using it and make sure my skin is perfectly dry. The smell of this is okay, not the most amazing scent. Every once in a while I get random darker streaks, which I’m not exactly sure why because I apply this carefully to avoid this. My skin is so soft and moisturized after using this!
