Brazilian Bum Bum Cream

Not sure if I see “firming” results but I still love it. Smells great, very smooth and great absorption. Would buy again. (Actually also bought the travel size)

Amazing Body Butter!

Smells like if vannila s3x by Tom ford and kayali 81 had a child aka smells good, but not the most hydrating overall I would recommend

Overpowering scent smells cheap

The smell is so overpowering and cloying in sweetness. Forget wearing your perfume of choice or any other scented products. It smells like cheap drugstore suntan lotion. Waste of $ :(

Smells great but doesn’t last

This product smells SO insanely good, it is by far one of the best smelling lotions I have ever had. However as far as be A LOTION, it’s ok but doesn’t really last throughout the day

Don't buy the refill!

Do NOT buy the refill!!! This reveiw is strictly about the refill jar and not the original SDJ. I love the lotion itself but the refill jar is a horribly designed product. It is dang near impossible to get the foil cover off the jar. Once I got it started it completely separated from the plastic and was just a stringy stretchy mess. It took tweezers and 20 mins for me to get all the plastic off. Then, once I finally got it cleaned up I put it in the original jar and realized the hard white plastic seal piece that comes in the original jar will no longer fit. I always keep these for an extra layer of protection against leaking, but I can't do that now. The idea of a refill is great in concept, but this one is extremely poor in execution! I'm just all around disappointed in this product and will definitely switch back to the original jar as soon as this one is gone.

I used to love this cream back in 2018 ish before all the insane hype. Was feeling nostalgic so I cracked open a new jar and there’s definitely been a formula change. It’s not as buttery as it used to be. I thought it was separating, but then I remembered that even with old jars I had lying around, it wouldn’t get watery, it would just get thicker as it dried out (and even then was usable). There definitely used to be a bit more of a cosmetic “glow” from very, very subtle shimmer particles. And now the colour of the product is more of a beige than white. Glad I’m no longer a regular user (not everyone liked the smell) otherwise I’d be livid. Would love for a beauty company to take off and maintain quality over time.

Worth the hype?

I finally tried the Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream in the Cheirosa '62 scent, and while it’s a good product, it didn’t fully live up to the hype for me. The texture is amazing—rich and nourishing without feeling greasy, and it definitely left my skin soft and hydrated. The scent, though, is where I struggled. On me, it didn’t come across as warm and vanilla-like as I’d hoped. Instead, it leaned more tropical and nutty, which just didn’t vibe with my personal preferences. That said, I’ve smelled it on others, and it’s incredible—warm, inviting, and everything people rave about. I think it’s one of those fragrances that really depends on your body chemistry. Overall, it’s a great moisturizer, and I can see why so many people love it. I just didn’t love the way the scent developed on me. If you’re into tropical scents, though, it might be perfect for you!

nothing special

the price is unreasonably high, for example, in the Italian collection Lerbolario, which I have always used, there is a greater choice of fragrances that leave a trail like an expensive perfume, the price is lower, and the same quality!. Overall, I wasn't surprised.

Disappointed

I bought the refill Bum Bum Cream and I’m so disappointed, it does not at all have the same scent as the original jar I bought, I think I am going to return it as the scent was the reason for the purchase.
