It does work

My mom bought this for herself. She has very fine thin flat hair. Though this did give some volume, we both noticed it wasn’t a lot. Tried it on myself and I will say it did something, but for this price point, you can likely find something better in a drugstore selection.

Not for oily hair

Got a sample of this. I have fine curly hair with dry ends and oily roots. This lathers nicely and cleans well for the first day. It didn't weigh my hair down. My scalp felt itchy and oily by the second day, tried a few time and same results, so wouldn't recommend. Usually other shampoos last me 2-3 days before my roots get oily.

Really does volumize fine hair!

I haven't been coloring or bleaching my hair anymore, so it's become extremely healthy but also fine and flat.I tried samples of this shampoo/conditioner and loved it!It actually did give my hair lots of volume. It's definitely thicker and bouncier after using Amika Big Hit. I love the thick jelly like consistency of this shampoo and the thickness of the conditioner, and it smells really nice as well, kind of like a high-end perfume.So I bought the full sizes and I'm super happy with it.

I miss the 3D shampoo

I've been using the amika 3D shampoo for over a year now and I loved it. But they've updated the formula and it's terrible. It doesn't lather well, or rinse cleanly. And it smells like funeral flowers. it reminds me of the cheap shampoo you get in motel/hotels. Such a bummer, I love the rest of the amika products I've tried, but this was a huge miss for me.
