The Kure Bond Repair Shampoo for Damaged Hair

I’ve almost finished the whole shampoo and conditioner so I believe I can now make an accurate review. The Kure line is just incredible. My hair has truly never been shinier or felt healthier. My hairstylist pointed out how healthy my hair is as well. My one issue is that this makes my hair noticeably greasy faster. I used to be able to go 4-5 days without needing to wash my hair but with this my hair is greasy within 2 days (honestly, even within 24 hours). I have thin hair but I have a lot of it, that could play a part in that I suppose. For reference I gave straight, untreated hair, and I rarely use heat. Overall, this shampoo is amazing and I recommend it!

horrible brand

Amika products are trash. I tried to give them a chance but after noticing my hair getting worse and my hairstylist recommended other brand my hair is back to normal I have fine curly hair and no I do not recommend amika

Leaves hair dull and coated

It made my hair nice at first but after awhile my hair started to get really dull and seemed to have a coating over it. I re dyed my hair the color I always do and it came out darker which has never happened before I’m assuming from the buildup of this shampoo or whatever “bond technology” it claims to have. Either way it leaves my hair soft but dull and dry looking. I had to buy drugstore and that left my hair nicer looking than this definitely not worth it.

Im honestly impressed!! After 2 washes I can say I’m happy with it! Immediately after rinsing this shampoo out, my hair feels super soft VS. my old shampoo would make my hair feel tangled and desperate for conditioner but not Amika! It seems to be doing it’s job and it smells amazing!! I think I’m gonna go buy the conditioner now!

Okay, not great

This shampoo is okay — nothing special. I have a lot of fine hair that gets oily at the roots and is often frizzy in the lengths. I do feel like The Kure line helped my hair feel stronger, but it didn’t do anything to help balance my scalp and reduce frizziness. That’s not the main goal of this shampoo, which is fine. It just isn’t for me. Used up the bottle but will not repurchase.

AMAZING

I've been using this with the matching conditioner on my bleached hair for the past month or so, and it has been a gamechanger!! My hair is so much softer, and I feel like it's growing already!

I got a sample of this recently and was really excited to try it out but immediately after using it I noticed it had left my hair tangled, broken, and gummy. I have fine color treated hair and had read a review noting that this had happened to someone else but didn’t think this would happen since my hair has always loved other protein products. It took a ton of hair oil and masks over the course of a few hours to be able to detangle my hair without ripping it all out after using this which has never happened to me before.

I wish they made bigger sizes

I love this so much! I feel like I'm seeing way less fallout and my hair is so soft and not as frizzy.

leaves hair realllly greasy

Wanted to love this product but it leaves my hair so greasy!!!! The smell is amazing and my hair feels nice for about a day but after that it’s as if I haven’t washed it in a week! I’ve never been a shampoo or conditioner snob so I’m pretty easy to impress when it comes to products but this one is a no from me :,(

If you get the old formula, return!

Recently purchased the entire system as a switch from Olaplex and received the old formula of the shampoo & conditioner but new formula of the hair mask. The shampoo does absolutely nothing, doesnt even lather no matter how much you use, and the conditioner is equivalent to a drugstore cheaper option. Im going to attempt to exchange in store for the updated formulas and will edit my review then! I understand that there’s still old product left from the old batches, but if you advertise a new formula, send customers the NEW one!

My Hair is Healthier and stronger than ever!

I’ve been using this shampoo for about 3 months now, and my hair feels healthier than ever! I used to suffer with split ends and found that this line (shampoo, conditioner, and treatment) has significantly reduced them. Not to mention how it’s allowed me to grow out my hair faster. Not a big fan of the scent/ lather, but I’ve gotten used to it now.
