I enjoyed using this product to supplement my makeup routine. Very lightweight and smooth.

Just okay.

It's a bit watery and I'm not sure it it actually blended in the way it was supposed to. My skin did look a lot more matte but also a bit cakey without foundation. I'll still give it another try.

A must have!

Amazing primer base that does not feel tacky or greasy. This primer blurs my pores seamlessly and gives my makeup a smooth foundation to lay on top of. I love how lightweight it feels and it hold my makeup all day with no oil peeking through. You need it!

A matiffiying glowy primer!

This primer feels luxurious on the skin and applies beautifully. As someone with combination skin, I appreciate how it keeps my T-zone naturally matte throughout the day without feeling overly drying. While it’s not an ultra-mattifying primer, it effectively controls oil, leaving a balanced, natural finish. Overall, it feels high-quality and comfortable on my skin.

Blurring for sure, make sure to let it set

This primer does what it says it will do: blurs the skin. You do need to let it set after applying to avoid any pilling on the face once you apply your other products. I thought it was a dud until I took the time to allow it to dry down. You will look soft and filtered. Also I don’t use this on my entire face, only the center where I may have more obvious pores.

Primer I’ve been looking for!!

I’ve been using this product over the past few days, I love my results! It has helped keep my makeup in tact, while also leaving my skin feeling hydrated. Application is a breeze just make sure you blend it in well!

The best blurring primer for big pores!

I have been incorporating this primer into my routine and I love it so much! As soon as you put it on it feels very smoothing. My concealer applied so well on top. And everything paired really well with my Laura Mercier translucent setting powder. I have no creasing and I will definitely be repurchasing this forever!

Mattifying & Oil Control

I like how when I instantly applied this I noticed that it had a mattifying effect for oil control. It also made my makeup blur and look and feel flawless.

Great Primer to have!

Love this primer! My pores are almost diminished after each application. It’s a great addition to help smooth out my skin and helps my makeup stay on longer. I always do two parts primer in my cheeks. So basically after my moisturizer, I add the primer in a circular motion then I add a couple dots of foundation, then I add some primer over that and foundation again. I do this because I have larger pores, and it’s a game changer. It has a creamy consistency and gets the job done. It’s nice to have a product that works and helps to make you look and feel flawless.

Laura Mercier never disappoints! This pure canvas primer truly gives you a pure canvas. It evens the look of pores and texture providing the perfect base for your makeup.

Not for me

After using this product a couple times, I've come to the conclusion that this is not for me. It goes on easily, but that is where it stops for me. I had problems with it beading up when I applied my foundation. It also left a weird white cast under my foundation after it was applied. The first time I thought it was user error and that I applied too much, but I tried again with a small amount and let it dry. I still had issues. It just doesn't do it for me.
