Beautiful matte, creamy texture, zero transfer!

My new favorite lipstick! I worse NARS matte lipstick in Heat Wave for 12+ years, before getting a mini of the Powermatte Lipstick in Dragon Girl. I loved the regular lipstick, but pretty much stopped wearing it, because it kept rubbing off on my daughter's face when I kissed her. I tried all kinds of lip stains, in an effort to find something that wouldn't transfer, but it just wasn't the same. I missed my bold, red lip! Enter, Powermatte. Not only is it a creamy matte that lasts forever, it also doesn't transfer onto my daughter's face, no matter how many times I kiss her. It's the best. Can't wait to try it in the Feel My Fire color and reclaim the orangey red lipstick look I have worn for more than a decade.

Formulation

Dragon Girl is a beautiful shade of red, but this formulation just doesn't compare to Audacious. Color payoff is just so so, and it doesn't feel very good on my lips. Been a Nars girl for 15 years, but I'm spoiled by Audacious and won't be satisfied until they bring back that line of lipsticks.

Comfortable and long lasting

I get so many compliments on shade "get lucky". I love that these lipsticks are matte, yet light and comfortable. Never drying.

Layerable matte

Great color payoff, brick color. It is matte, but if you use lip balm underneath it transforms to cream. Intensity can be layered.

Great shades, but

Indiscreet is a great shade but this lipstick is very, very sticky.

Perfect lasting

Amazing long lasting lipstick I've tried so far, it doesn't dry out my lips and looks like velvet.

Luring customers to buy more product,

They have this “free gift-a blush and a liner” if you buy two products from Nars. I wanted just the one but got two to avail this offer and the customer care says “it is subject to availability” but that is only on samples and not on free gifts. Nowhere on the free gift page where it says buy two products does it say subject to availability. This is Sephora liring customers to buy more and not giving what was promised

Lipstick lottery

Best lipstick on the market. Especially the color choices. Love the nudes and pinky browns like American woman. It's odd to make shades that are usable on all skin tones! Feel like I won the lipstick jackpot!

Powermatte Lipstick

I love the product. It doesn't last on as long as I'd like, but it's smooth, feels great, doesn't bleed and blends wonderfully! I'd definitely recommend the product!
