I bought this on the associate’s recommendation when I purchased not your make up foundation. But, I am not a fan because I feel like it never gets clean no matter how I clean it when I pat or squeeze to dry it, there’s always foundation coming out. It seriously always has residual product left in it.

No No No
Used this dry as you should, used it with the MUF water-based foundation that it is meant to be used with and just NO! the sponge is hard, no bounce, does not apply any liquid foundation nicely to your face and forget blending or stipling application with this sponge. It still blows my mind that MUF could make such a horrible product. Do yourself a favour and invest an extra $10 for a BeautyBlender, I finally gave in to the BeautyBlender craze and it changed my life!

Not for me
Maybe this is for extremely professional makeup artists because it did not apply my makeup as well as other sponges. Let me patchy and uneven

I found this sponge super awkward and just not that good. The texture is odd and it was easy to leave streaks.

Good quality foundation sponge
Works well with the MUF foundation - does not soak up a lot of foundation into the sponge which is great - so you don’t waste foundation. A bit harder than other makeup sponges I have tried but easy to get used to.

Needs More Durability
Works great with the water blend foundation (also Make Up Forever), but it doesn't seem to last long. I've had to replace mine just about every other time I get a new bottle of the foundation. It starts flaking off when you wash it.

Reviewing this for foundation application, this is just not good. It applies patchy and you constantly have to blend over the harsh edge the sponge leaves on your face making an endless loop of blending. Its also very rough compared to my usual beauty sponges. Its a hard pass on this one.

If you wash your blender regularly it crumbles and falls apart. Especially on the edges. Frustrating.

This will not replace your beauty blender
In all fairness it doesn't advertise that it will do so, but I was getting tired of my sponge always deteriorating after I just bought my 2nd beauty blender of the month I decided to try this out but gurl this stuff is terrible. She don't bounce and spread product nicely. It's a no from me. Also be aware of the latex.

This is a great blender you do not dampen this one as you do the Sephora blender I use one small pump of makeup and sometimes it still seems like too much but with this blender it lightly takes off the over done look and my makeup looks great

Great for about a month
While they'll tell you this sponge lasts a year, it doesn't. Sponges/brushes need to be washed at least once a month...we know this...but after one simple, hand-rinse/dry, the sponge started to disintegrate. Little black specs all over my face. It hit the garbage can. Save your money.

ELLIPSE BLENDER SPONGE
Best sponge PERIOD
I love this sponge for hard to reach places such as around the eyes and nose. Blends out full cover concealers effortlessly. It also allows you to layer on super matte setting powder without the cakey look.
